SAN FRANCISCO, March 2 — The Photography.Book.Now International Juried Competition seeks entries for its second annual competition celebrating self-published photography books and the photographers behind them. The grand prize is $25,000 to finish – or start – a photography project of the winner’s choice. Entries will be accepted in three categories – Fine Art, Editorial, and Commercial. The grand prize and first-prize winners will receive a private portfolio review with members of the judging panel in the category in which they submitted.

Now is this not a great way to not just market your self published photo book but also to highlight your talent to a much wider audience?

Submissions will be submitted to the Photography Book Now website and a jury will lead a panel of editors, gallery curators, publishers and photographers and judge the Photography Book Now competition. Deadline for submissions will be on July 16, 2009 12NN PDT.

Photography Book Now is an international juried competition for all photographers and photography enthusiasts who wishes to submit their works through this competition. Its first commencement last year gave artists a venue to showcase to the world their talent. You can just imagine how successful it was for the community to conduct another competition for the second time this year.

“We were truly blown away by the amazing and inspiring range of work we saw in the competition’s first year,” said Himes, lead judge of the first Photography.Book.Now contest. “We expect submissions this year will be even more spectacular. Photography.Book.Now offers photographers of all backgrounds a wonderful opportunity to showcase compelling work in book form. The three categories celebrate the photography book as an experience that is more than just the sum of its parts.”
